Beautiful Gardens ... Buzzing with Wildlife
SERVICES |
Garden Design Anne specialises in beautiful, flower-filled, wildlife-friendly gardens. Anne prefers to work closely with her clients, taking into account the location and the surrounding landscape to create a garden which nestles naturally into the local environment, meeting both the requirements of the human owners and those of the wilder inhabitants. She enjoys creating gardens that have strong divisions, with somewhere to walk and places to sit and enjoy. They inevitably include water in some form and tend to have romantic, yesteryear plantings of favourite garden plants, native wildflowers, evocative shrubs and trees. Anne tends to choose local and sustainable materials for hard landscaping, keeping paths and terraces simple and classic. Designs that will attract butterflies and bees throughout the year are a speciality and Anne can provide you with a detailed planting plan and a plant list. She can also source and plant your designs. Anne works in a peat-free and organic atmosphere and encourages recycling and reuse in all her gardens. Anne offers a design-only option, leaving the client free to bring in their own landscape team if necessary. Anne is quite happy to liaise with this team and supervise any works. |
Biodiversity Surveys and Management Plans Whatever the area, Anne can advise on all aspects of managing habitats for wildlife. She has a particular interest in meadows, ponds and woodlands. She can also survey your garden to record the plants and animals already there and for larger areas conduct historical searches of both landscape and species records. |
On-line Services Anne is happy to produce designs based on photographs and information provided by you. Anne will discuss with you the information required and the more information provided the more detailed the designs can be. The whole garden or just small areas can be designed in this way. |
Consultancy You may not need to redesign your whole garden. Anne will visit you to give expert advice on future planting and the development of your entire garden or a specialist wildlife area and provide smaller plans for specific areas of the garden. |
