Anne Harrap: Gardens & Wildlife

Born in Sheringham Anne's love of natural history led to her gaining a Masters Degree in Environmental Science and Conservation Resource Management. In 1986 she started her own business, Natural Surroundings: The Wildflower Centre, based at Bayfield Hall near Letheringsett, using her knowledge of the natural environment to to create beautiful, vibrant gardens. Recently she has gained a diploma in Garden Design from the English Gardening School and in 2009 was awarded 'Best in Show' for her courtyard garden at the Sandringham Flower Show. After some time out for families etc Anne is now back at Natural Surroundings and busy creating and managing wonderful wildlife-friendly gardens, as well as running a busy plant nursery and nature reserve.
